Georgia Strawberry Festival Pet Parade Form

Welcome to the Reynolds, Georgia Pet Parade for the 2026 Georgia Strawberry Festival, taking place on April 25, 2026, at Julian Knight Park, Reyonlds, Ga. for judging, followed by the winner announcement at Julian Knight Park Gazebo.

Judging & Awards

Criteria: Pets will be judged on creativity, originality, adherance to theme, and overall appearance. Bonus points for handmade costumes. 

Judging Panel: A panel of judges selected from the local community. All decisions are final.

Awards: First Place, Second Place, and Third Place prizes will be awarded. Prize details will be announced closer to the event date.

Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced immediately following the parade at Julian Knight Park, Reynolds, Ga. 

Participation Rules

Eligability: Open to pets of all sizes and breeds. Each pet must be accompanied by a handler.

Costume Requirements: Costumes must be safe, comfortable, and not restrict movement, vision, breathing, or ability to bark/meow. Strawberry themes or berry colors (red, green, white) are encouraged, but all appropriate costumes are welcome.

Registration: Participants must register prior to the event.

Check-In: Must check-in by 9:30 AM on April 25, 2026, at Liberty Park, Reynolds, Ga. Late arrivals may be disqualified. 

Behavior: Pets must be well-behaved around people and animals. Aggressive behavior will result in removal from the event. 

Safety & Health Rules

Leash Policy: All pets must remain on a leash or in an appropriate carrier at all times.

Vaccinations: Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations.

Clean-Up: Handlers are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Please bring waste bags.

Health: Pets showing signs of illness, distress, or heat exhaustion will be removed for their safety.

Liability, Photo Permission, Agreement & Digital Signature

By participating, handlers agree to assume all risks associated with the event and will not hold the Georgia Strawberry Festival or it sponsors liable for any injury or damage.

Participants grant permission for the Georgia Strawberry Festival to use photographs of themselves and their pets for promotional purposes without compensation.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I am voluntarialy participating in the Georgia Strawberry Festival Pet Parade.
