    We are excited to launch our 2nd year of the Leadership Track Program
  • The MSA is excited to announce a year-long consulting project designed for medical students, residents, fellows, and young professionals seeking to enhance their leadership skills in the fields of anesthesiology and healthcare. Participants will be allocated a specific project topic and paired with a mentor, providing invaluable opportunities for experiential learning, networking, and engagement in policy-making. This program aims to prepare future leaders for successful careers in clinical, administrative, and executive roles, ultimately cultivating skilled professionals who can guide the MSA and the healthcare landscape into the future.     Feb 6-Mar 20       Call for Applicants

    April 1                  Select & Notify Awardees

    April 10                Pair with Mentor

    May-May              Work on Project & Delivery final report at MSA Annual

     

    Components/Benefits: 

    • Project Pairing: (1) Current/Future Workforce Landscape (2) Membership Benefits/Recruitment
    • Experiential Learning: Develop a comprehensive leadership plan over one year (May to May).
    • Mentoring/Leadership: Pairing with project-specific mentors for ongoing guidance.
    • Conferences/Networking: Funding for ASA Advance Conference and ASA Legislative Conference.
    • ASA Leadership Academy:Access to additional training and networking opportunities.

    • Must be a current MSA/ASA Member
