2026 Season Volunteer Signup
Roller derby wouldn't exist without volunteers and officials. The Gainesville Roller Rebels LOVE our volunteers, and we have a lot of different ways to show it! All of our volunteers get free admission on the day of the bout, free food at the after party, and a free entry into a season-long raffle. You will also receive a $25 voucher for GRR swag after volunteering at four+ 2026 home bouts!

All of GRR's home bouts take place at the MLK Multipurpose Center (1028 NE 14th Street, Gainesville, FL 32601). If you are helping with pre-bout storage unit/uhaul loading, please plan to arrive at 1:45pm at the storage unit (2160 NE 1st Blvd). If you are helping with pre-bout event setup, please plan to arrive at the MLK center between 2:30-2:45pm. If you will be helping during the bout, please plan to arrive between 4:30-5:00pm.

Volunteers must be 18+ due to insurance requirements.

We'll send out assignments for each bout 1-2 weeks in advance via email - please give us an email address that you check regularly!

Submitting this form does not guarantee you an officiating position of a particular bout, but we will notify you if you are or are not selected as soon as we can. While we appreciate every single official that is willing to bring their experience and support to our bouts there are a lot of considerations in choosing officials, including contracts with visiting teams, experience requirements for each bout, and cultivating our own league's officials' experience. If you are not selected but are able to help officiate, we may have alternate officiating positions available.
