We need YOU for this year's IGNITE Conference and our 25th Anniversary!
As we mentioned in our last newsletter, ICF Raleigh is holding our 25th Anniversary Celebration and IGNITE Conference on Thursday, October 1. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend, and watch your inbox for registration info that will be coming shortly.
This year’s event is intentionally designed to be engaging, interactive, and community-driven—and our members play a central role in shaping the experience.
We are inviting you to participate in the IGNITE Conference by:
- Giving a Keynote Presentation
- Presenting an Ignite Talk (see below)
- Hosting a Special Interest Group (SIG) Roundtable
- Attending the conference and/or the mixer celebration after!E
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered as an IGNITE presenter, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be an active member of ICF
- You must be willing to collaborate with the IGNITE planning team to ensure alignment with the flow and spirit of the event
- You must agree to allow ICF-RAC to record your session, if applicable, for use by registered attendees and potential inclusion in member archives
- You must be prepared to actively engage participants and support an interactive, in-person learning environment
- A separate application is required for each opportunity, along with a brief description of the session you are proposing
Session Types & Guidelines
**All sessions should focus on best practices, timely topics, and shared learning within the coaching profession.
Ignite Presentations are fast-paced, creative, and idea-driven.
- Exactly 5 minutes
- Exactly 20 slides (which can be repeated to spend more time on one slide)
- Slides auto-advance every 15 seconds
- Content should be concise, engaging, and thought-provoking
- Designed to spark curiosity, insight, or conversation—not deliver a full workshop
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are roundtable discussions
- These sessions are designed to foster dialogue, shared learning, and practical application.
- Facilitated, interactive conversations centered on relevant coaching or business topics
- Emphasis on peer learning, best practices, and collective wisdom
- No slides; engagement is the priority
- Designed to support meaningful connection and exchange. Roundtables are not a presentation.
Selection Process
If you can adhere to the guidelines above, we would love to consider your application.
Application deadline: August 21, 2026
We'll begin the review process as soon as you submit your application. Selected applicants will be notified with next steps and additional details.
