    Our Mission Statement


    High on Love Bhakti Festival is a collaborative devotional gathering celebrating life in gratitude for our ever-present connection to the Divine.

    We create an uplifting experience for both practitioners and those who are curious about the Bhakti path of yoga, offering immersion in sacred practices including devotional music, mantra chanting, prayer, and meditation.

  • We invite you to apply below to perform or facilitate at our festival.

    We have a large main stage and two smaller side stages, all fully equipped with sound systems to suit each space. 

    We also have one indoor workshop space (occupancy approx. 30).


    Please complete the following application thoroughly.

    Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

  • ⏳ Application Review Timeline:

       •    Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

       •  You can expect a response within 2 weeks of submitting your application.

       •    If your application is not accepted, we will notify you so you can make alternate summer plans.

     

  •  What We Offer

    Here is what we will offer as a Thank You to the musical groups and workshop facilitators who are accepted into the festival lineup:

    • All-day passes to the festival for each musician/facilitator in your group + one additional helper/support person per group

    • Food and drinks provided at the festival for lunch and dinner

    • Travel expenses compensated (we will request receipts), up to $175 CAD per group for those traveling from Vancouver Island/Gulf Islands region, and up to $300 CAD for those traveling from the Mainland

    • Festival swag as a gift to each of your group members

    • Promotion of your name and offerings in our festival promotions (online and printed)

  • Responsibilities and Conduct

    Performers and facilitators are expected to:

    • Arrive on time and set up for the start of the festival at 10:00am

    • Act in a professional, respectful manner that reflects the values of the Event, as written in the Event Code of Conduct (click to view on our website)

    • Notify the Event Coordinator immediately if they are unable to fulfill their responsibilities

    • Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in dismissal from the festival

     

  • Liability and Indemnification

  • The Organizer is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by the performers/facilitators during the Event.

    The Performer/Facilitator agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their actions.

  • If you know of other bhakti artists/groups, or workshop facilitators, especially those of South Asian ancestry, that you think may wish to apply to be part of this beautiful gathering, please share our Festival with them. We would love to be in touch!
