The Fèis Air an Oir committee are delighted to welcome everyone to our summer Fèis week which will take place from Monday 20th to Friday 24th July 2026.
The Fèis Mhòr for children going in to P4 - S6 will take place at Farr School, Bettyhill from 10am - 3.15pm along with the Fèis Bheag for participants going in to P1 - P3 in August. Fèis Bheag classes will run from 10am - 12.30pm each day. For younger pre-school participants and their carers, Fèis Bheag Bhìodach will take place each morning from 10am-12 at the Farr Edge. Following these sessions, all participants will join together in the school hall until 12.30pm for some singing and dancing. Parents / carers of Fèis Bheag and Fèis Bheag Bhìodach participants are welcome to join in this session too.
We hope to offer adult Gaelic singing and conversation classes as usual. More information on this will be available soon.

Families residing in the community council areas of Strathy and Armadale, Melvich and Bettyhill, Strathnaver and Altnaharra are reminded that there is an opportunity to apply to the SSE Janette Mackay Memorial Fund for assistance with the cost of attending the Fèis.
Families residing in Caithness have the opportunity to apply to the Henry Rosie Memorial Bursary fund for assistant with the cost of attending the Fèis. The fund was established in recognition of the help and encouragement given to young musicians by the late Henry Rosie of Wick. Applications to the fund shoudl be made in writing to the Henry Rosie Fund Secreatary, 4 Rockwell Cresc., Thursao, KW14 7PL or by email to lewrytoons@aol.com

Fèis Air an Oir are able to offer transport for Fèis Mhòr participants from Melvich and Tongue to and from the Fèis each day. However this is on a first come first served basis and booking in advance is essential. This will cost £25 for the week.Please use the form below to book.
Lòn | Lunch
Fèis Mhòr participants should bring a pack lunch and a water bottle/ drink with them each day. A snack will be provided at morning break but participants are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
Ciuirm-ciùil | Tutors Concert
On the evening of Wednesday 22nd July we will be holding our fantastic Tutors Concert in Strathy Hall at 7.30pm. We expect this event to sell out so please book your tickets when you book your place to ensure that you can attend.

Main Fèis, Fèis Bheag and Fèis Bheag Bhìodach participants can attend the concert for free but they must have a ticket. These can be booked via the link above. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult as Fèis Air an Oir will not be able to supervise children at the concert.

In addition to the Fèis classes, there will be various additional events and activities going on throughout the week, once you have registered, please keep an eye on your emails and follow our facebook page for further information.

Please use the name of the participant you wish to register when signing up. You are able to register more than one participant when booking.
When booking you are registering for all five days of the event. Participants will do the same subjects each day.
Main Fèis participants must choose three different subjects. Class A should be the participant's first choice class as they will visit this class twice each day. Please note that Class B and Class C will be organised by ability level so may not be offered in the order chosen.
Participants choosing Tin Whistle will need to provide their own instrument, in the key of D. Whistles will be available for sale at the Fèis. Please let us know when booking your place if you wish to buy a whistle.
