Double Dan Horsemanship is proud to host a three-day clinic at the Australian Equine Performance Center located at 2150 E. Leestown Rd Midway, KY 40347 on August 15 - 16, 2026.
Designed for riders and horse enthusiasts who are eager to push boundaries—whether you’re a professional trainer or dedicated to training your own horse—this clinic focuses on the advanced elements that make a difference in the arena and beyond.
This form will guide you through registration, participation, and all stall or RV needs. Please complete the entire form to secure your spot.
Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Clinic FAQ
Below is everything you need to know before arrival:
What time does the clinic start?
Clinic begin at 9:00 AM each day. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to park and get settled. Dan will begin with an introduction/overview and will then organize the day’s sessions.
Do I need to check in for the clinic?
Yes. Staff will be at the pavilion 30 minutes before the clinic begins to check you in.
Please bring any outstanding health papers with you at that time.
Where are the pavilion and barns located?
You will receive a welcome guide a few weeks before the clinic that includes a facility map and detailed directions. The guide will show you where to find the barns, parking areas, and the location of the pavilion and arena.
How is the clinic structured?
Sessions run from 9:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break around midday.
Do I need to bring a chair?
No—we’ve got you covered. Chairs are available for everyone.
When will I get directions and other clinic info?
A Welcome Guide will be emailed to you after submitting this form. It will include:
- Directions to the farm
- Parking info
- Gate access code
- Check-in location and process
- Assigned stalls
When can I arrive and depart for the clinic?
You may arrive one day before the clinic begins, with arrival starting at 3:00 PM on that day.
You may depart the day after the clinic ends, with departure no later than 9:00 AM.
Can I ride or work my horse outside of clinic hours?
Yes - but only if:
- You have signed a waiver, and
- You’ve checked with the DDH crew to ensure the arena, round pen, or other areas are open and available.
What paperwork is required for my horse?
All horses must have:
- An up-to-date Health Certificate, and
- A current Coggins
- These are required at check-in or you can upload them to this form below.
How do I reserve a stall?
Stalls are: $35 per night for self-care (bring your own buckets, feed, and tools).
Shavings are not provided and you are required to bring your own. You can reserve stalls below.
Are RV hookups available?
Yes. A limited number of RV hookups are available for $45 per night on a first-come, first-served basis. Water and electric hookups are provided. Please bring any connectors you may need. You can reserve RV spots below.
Do you have a shower house available?
No. Bathroom facilities are available, but there are no shower houses on site.
FARM RULES
🚫 NO DOGS or other pets are allowed on the property at any time. We love animals, but for the safety of people and animals at the farm - we require guests to leave all pets at home.
NO FIRES are allowed at anytime anywhere on the farm.
