Movement

MOVEMENT is an art auction celebrating the power of motion—whether it be representational, personal, politcal, or collective. Hosted at The Cincinnati Ballet, the event invites artists to explore how movement and motion shapes us, connect us, and help us see the world.

What do you want to share with the world? How does your work represent movement? RedDoor - Movement welcomes pieces that speak from the heart and spark the imagination. Allow your art to embody movement and share it with a wider audience.

Exhibition Details:

Date: Friday, May 8th
Location: The Cincinnati Ballet, 1801 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45202

Duration: 5:00 PM-7:00 PM

Eligibility:

Open to all living or working in the Greater Cincinnati area.
All images submitted must be the artist's own work.
All submitted images should be high-resolution, with a maximum file size of 10GB.
All mediums are welcome.

Artwork Specifications:

Artists will be required to provide physical versions of the accepted artwork.
Artwork may be 2D or 3D.
Artwork should weigh no more than 15 lbs. and have maximum dimensions of 36 inches (91.44 cm) in any direction.
Art must be ready to display freestanding and stable on a flat surface or suitable for display on an easel.
The artwork will be juried by ArtWorks staff & Board based on criteria including originality, relevance to the theme, adherence to artwork specifications, and overall quality.
The artist will receive 75% of the proceeds of their sale, with the other 25% going to ArtWorks.

Notifications regarding selection for the "MOVEMENT" theme will be sent out by March 30th at 5 PM.
