  • The Administrator of the Year Award recognizes an exceptional paid professional whose leadership, vision, and dedication have significantly advanced the game of soccer and strengthened the soccer community. This award honors a paid member of a soccer association, soccer club, or soccer team who consistently supports the soccer mission, serves players and families with excellence, and makes a lasting impact through effective administration and community engagement.

    Nomination submissions should include documentation demonstrating how the nominee supports the soccer mission and positively impacts players, members, and the broader soccer community. Eligible nominees must meet the following criteria:

    Eligibility & Affiliation

    • Must be a paid administrator affiliated with an active North Texas Soccer Association or Club in good standing.

    Experience & Impact

    • Demonstrates an outstanding record of participation and service within their organization.
    • Provides a clear history of involvement in soccer, including how and when the nominee began their involvement in the game.
    • Has made a measurable and positive impact on their local association or club.
    • Has taken meaningful steps to further advance and promote the game of soccer.
    • Actively builds and maintains relationships within the community to grow and strengthen the game.

    Leadership & Community Engagement

    • Serves as an excellent role model within the soccer community and beyond.
    • Demonstrates active involvement in the community, including activities outside of soccer.
    • Effectively serves existing membership while implementing strategies to increase participation and membership.
    • Has created, led, and successfully implemented significant projects or initiatives that benefit the organization.

    Commitment to the Game

    • May participate in soccer beyond the administrative role, such as playing, coaching, or refereeing.
    • Maintains positive, collaborative relationships with other members of the North Texas Soccer community.

    Recommended Application Materials

    It is strongly encouraged that nomination submissions include:

    • Letters of recommendation from parents, club administrators, community leaders, and youth and adult peers
    • A personal statement outlining the nominee’s soccer philosophy
    • A brief résumé highlighting the nominee’s administrative background and accomplishments
