  • Program Overview

    The North Carolina Black Alliance (NCBA) invites student organizations to participate in the Campus Organizations Redefining Engagement (C.O.R.E.) Program.
    This initiative empowers student-led organizations to drive civic engagement and voter education efforts on their campuses, expanding democratic participation and building civic power through community-based organizing.

    Program Summary

    Participating organizations will receive funding, training, and strategic support to coordinate nonpartisan civic activities such as:

    • Attending local civic meetings
    • Leading campus-based voter education
    • Activating peers around local and national elections
    • Promoting civic awareness and responsibility through social media

    • Funding & Payment Information 
    • Each participating organization may earn up to $800 per semester based on meeting program requirements.

      To receive payments, your organization must meet one of the following financial eligibility options:

    • Agreement & Commitment 
    • By signing this form, our organization agrees to:

      • Participate in required NCBA trainings and civic engagement activities.
      • Mobilize peers for at least two civic meetings per semester.
      • Host one civic education event per semester as outlined by NCBA. (Must collaborate with other campus organizations.)
      • Host or collaborate on Get Out the Vote (GOTV) activations.
      • Submit documentation (photos, reflections, and attendance) via Jotform after each activity.
      • Post and tag our social media pages to amplify civic engagement visibility.
      • Maintain consistent communication with NCBA program staff.
