Criteria
The ASF Women in Seed award celebrates and honours a woman in the Australian seed industry who has demonstrated exceptional commitment, leadership and impact. Nominees do not need to be an ASF member, they can be any person who is serving the Australian Seed Industry, however ASF members will be viewed favourably.
Award process
- Members with or without a direct business association with the nominee can propose an individual for consideration.
- Written nominations must be submitted to the ASF Secretariat providing a short description of the nominee’s role and their contribution to the Australian seed industry.
- The final decision for the award rests with the ASF Secretariat.
- A maximum of one Women in Seed award will be presented each year at the ASF Seed Business Gala Dinner
Inclusions:
- There are no inclusions with the ASF Women in Seed award (unlike ASF Life Membership).
- The Women in Seed award is in recognition of the awardee’s outstanding dedication and potential within the Australian seed industry, building on the work of our Women in Seed Network.
