The United Way of the Yampa Valley (UWYV) is excited to introduce the Skilled Trades Scholarship Program, which aims to empower individuals in Moffat, Rio Blanco and Routt Counties by providing financial support between $2,000 and $7,000 for training in high-demand skilled trades. We are dedicated to addressing workforce gaps, fostering financial stability, and promoting regional economic development. Thanks to a generous donation from AES Solar and matching donor funds, UWYV in cooperation with regional partners will offer scholarships for certifications, licensing, and training in career fields such as welding, cosmetology, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and landscaping.
