  • Criteria
    The ASF Emerging Leader award is designed to acknowledge and encourage the development of future leaders who are poised to make significant and lasting contributions to the seed industry.
    Nominees should have been active in the seed industry for seven or fewer years. Nominees do not need to be an ASF member, they can be any person who is serving the Australian Seed Industry, however ASF members will be viewed favourably.


    Award process

    1. Members with or without a direct business association with the nominee can propose an individual for consideration.
    2. Written nominations must be submitted to the ASF Secretariat providing a short description of the nominee’s role and their contribution to the Australian seed industry. 
    3. The final decision for the award rests with the ASF Secretariat. 
    4. A maximum of one Emerging Leader award will be presented each year at the ASF Seed Business Gala Dinner

    Inclusions:

    • There are no inclusions with the ASF Emerging Leader award (unlike ASF Life Membership). 
    • The Emerging Leader award is in recognition of the awardee’s outstanding dedication and potential within the Australian seed industry.
