Hot Ones (Wing) Eating Competition Waiver of Liability
I, the undersigned participant, wish to participate in the Hot Wing Eating Competition hosted at Dickmann's Sports Barn, which features hot sauces featured on Hot Ones. I acknowledge that participation in this competition involves the consumption of extremely spicy wings that could potentially cause physical discomfort, temporary pain, and possible adverse health reactions.
Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge the risks associated with eating extremely spicy food, including but not limited to, physical discomfort, temporary pain, nausea, vomiting, and other potential health risks. I assume all responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the event.
Release of Liability: By signing this waiver, I release and hold harmless Dickmann's Sports Barn, its owners, employees, affiliates, and the producers of Hot Ones and their respective sauces, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in such activity, or while on premises where the event is taking place.
Medical Acknowledgment: I confirm that I am physically able to participate in this event and do not suffer from any medical condition that would limit my participation or increase my risk of injury or illness from eating spicy food. I agree to withdraw from the competition if I experience adverse reactions that could be deemed harmful to my health.
Media Release: I hereby grant permission to Dickmann's Sports Barn and its affiliates to photograph or record me during the event, and to use any photographs, video recordings, or any other visual or audio portrayals of me in any media, for any purpose, without inspection or approval by me.
