Sokol 255 Scholarship Application Form

Founded in 1915, The mission of Sokol U.S.A is to promote a sound mind in a sound body through physical, cultural, moral and educational development of its members.

The objectives of Sokol U.S.A. are:
* To promote Sokol physical culture and sports, fitness and wellness to its members.
* To educate its members in the Sokol ideals and history, and to support Sokol literature.
* To promote the democratic tradition and patriotic spirit of the United States of America.
* To provide social and fraternal activities.
* To maintain classes or schools for instruction of members.
* To aid its members and their dependents in case of accident, sickness and death.
* To promote social, cultural and charitable interactions between our members and their communities.

Purpose: To identify high school seniors who possess a strong desire for academic excellence, leadership positions in student organizations, and plan on attending college or trade school in the Fall 2026 semester as a full-time student.

Reward: ONE individual selected from the pool of qualified applicants will be awarded a scholarship for financial assistance during the 2026-2027 academic year of $1,000.00.

If selected, you will be asked for documentation to support the data you provide. Likewise, all correspondence and award agreements will be generated from the personal information submitted below. So, please use proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation.

Your essay should be 300-500 words. You should address in your essay: your college goals and choice of major, what you intend to do with your education, and why a scholarship is important to you. Include any academic and non-academic accomplishments, personal characteristics, or experiences that make you uniquely worthy of scholarship consideration.
