Lay the garment flat on a table and measure from side to side, about 2.5cm below the armpit seam. This figure is referred to as the ‘half chest measurement’ Use this figure to see where you fit on the size guide for that garment. If you’re in between sizes it’s probably best to go up a size, unless like most of us you’re ‘going’ to lose weight! It’s just best to lay a jacket of your own in a similar style flat on a table and measure that and compare to the charts. Also keep in mind the sizes won’t be too far off what you did ally order eg a size 8. The only exception is the men's Buller Jacket and Snowy Vest are fairly generous sizes.
