HELMETS ARE REQUIRED BY ALL PARTICIPANTS
I am aware of the risk of bicycling and otherwise participating in this event and voluntarily assume such risk. In consideration of being permitted to participate in this event: (1) I release for myself, my heirs, and personal representatives, the League of American Bicyclists, Inc., Connect Pinellas, Inc., and The Pinellas County Urban League, and the respective directors, officers, volunteers, and staff (releasees) from any claim liability, demand, action, and cause of action whatsoever (collectively, “Claim”) arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury (collectively, “Loss”), to myself or my property, that I may sustain in connection with, or arising out of, this event, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise; (2) If registrant is a minor, I (as parent or guardian) agree to indemnify and hold harmless each releasee against any claim for any Loss said minor may sustain in connection with or arising out of, this event, and against legal or other expenses incurred by any releasee in connection with defending any Claim by or on behalf of said minor for any such loss, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise; (3) I shall obey traffic laws and practice safety in bicycling; and (4) I agree to wear a CPSC-approved helmet on all bicycle-riding activities at this event.
Soy consciente del riesgo que supone participar en bicicleta y de cualquier otra forma en este evento, y asumo voluntariamente dicho riesgo. En consideración a serAutorizo a participar en este evento: (1) Libero, en mi nombre, el de mis herederos y el de mis representantes personales, a la Liga de AméricaBicyclists, Inc., y sus respectivos directores, funcionarios, voluntarios y personal (exonerados) de cualquier reclamación, responsabilidad, demanda, acción ycualquier causa de acción (en adelante, la “Reclamación”) que surja de o esté relacionada con cualquier pérdida, daño o lesión (en adelante, la “Pérdida”), ayo mismo o mis bienes, que pueda sufrir en relación con este evento o que surja del mismo, ya sea causado por negligencia de(2) Si el registrante es menor de edad, yo (como padre o tutor) acepto indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad a cada persona liberada contracualquier reclamación por cualquier pérdida que dicho menor pueda sufrir en relación con este evento o que surja del mismo, y contra gastos legales o de otro tipoincurridos por cualquier parte exonerada en relación con la defensa de cualquier reclamación presentada por o en nombre de dicho menor por cualquier pérdida de este tipo, ya sea causada por la negligencia de las partes exoneradas o de otro modo;l (3) Obedeceré las leyes de tránsito y practicaré la seguridad al andar en bicicleta; y (4) Acepto usar un sco homologado por la CPSC obligatorio en todas las actividades de ciclismo durante este evento.
