MWT Cymru – Print Advertising Terms & Conditions (12-Month Term)
Definitions
These terms and conditions apply to all print advertisements, inserts, sponsored content, or features (hereinafter referred to as “advertisements”) booked with Mid Wales Tourism (herinafter referred to as "MWT Cymru")
Duration
All advertising bookings are for a 12-month period, starting from the date the brochure is delivered to the public (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
Membership Requirements
Advertising slots booked at the discounted member rate are conditional on active MWT Cymru membership being maintained throughout the full 12-month advertising term.
If membership is cancelled or lapses during this period, the advertising rate will be rolled back to the non-member rate, and the Advertiser will be liable for the difference, which will become due immediately.
Payment Terms
Early Bird Rates are available until 30th September 2026 only.
To secure the discounted Early Bird Rate, full payment or a valid purchase order must be received by 30th September 2026.
Any payments received after 31st October 2026 may be charged at the standard (non-discounted) rate.
Payment is due within 30 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed. Overdue payments may be subject to interest and/or withdrawal of booked advertisement space.
Monthly Payment Option
If the Advertiser opts to spread the cost of advertising across 12 months:
- Payment must be collected via Direct Debit monthly or additional charges may apply.
- These payments are non-refundable.
- Should the Advertiser cancel the agreement after the brochure has been printed, the full remaining balance of the advert cost will become payable immediately.
Cancellations
Written notice is required to cancel, stop or suspend an advertising booking.
This notice must be received no later than 30th November 2026.
After this date, the Advertiser is liable to pay the full cost of the advertisement.
Copy Submission
All copy must be submitted by the agreed deadline.
If no copy is received, MWT Cymru reserves the right to either repeat previous material or allocate space as deemed appropriate.
Proofs and amendments are not guaranteed if copy is late.
Advertising Content
MWT Cymru reserves the right to reject or amend advertisements at its discretion.
Any advertisement containing competitions or discount codes must be declared at the time of booking.
The Advertiser warrants that all content is legal, non-defamatory, and does not infringe third-party rights.
Amendments & Force Majeure
MWT Cymru reserves the right to amend the placement, size, or schedule of advertisements if necessary. If changes are unacceptable to the Advertiser, they may cancel the booking unless changes are due to circumstances beyond MWT Cymru’s control.
Rate Changes
Advertisement rates may be revised at any time. Bookings already accepted will be honoured at the rate agreed for the next issue going to print. In case of a rate increase, Advertisers may cancel without surcharge or continue at the new rate.
Defaults & Additional Costs
If the Advertiser’s actions cause additional costs (e.g., reprints, redesigns, legal issues), MWT Cymru reserves the right to recover these from the Advertiser.
Complaints
Any complaint relating to the publication of an advertisement must be made in writing within one calendar month of the brochure’s delivery.
