This Letter of Intent expresses our interest in enrolling staff in the October cohort of the practical certificate in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation.
This letter is both for individuals enrolling themselves AND for organizations enrolling staff.
Program has two phases to ensure readiness and care quality:
- Training Phase: Sixteen weeks of 2-3 hours per week self-paced work PLUS 1.5 hours per week live class.
- Supervision Phase: Thirty two weeks when candidates work in the work but must meet their Georgetown supervisor once a month for 60 minutes for reflective supervision and problem solving.
Program timeline:
- Training Phase Start date: October 5- self-paced learning starts. Week of October 12- live classes start.
- Training Phase End date: Week of February 15 (break for Thanksgiving week and for Christmas and New Year's)
- Supervision Phase Dates: February 22, 2027 - October 8, 2027
Program cost: $3,000 per person. This includes both phases.
