2026 Pennsylvania Krampusnacht Vendor Information
Hello! It’s been quite a wait but we are pleased to announce details for this year’s Pennsylvania Krampusnacht! We searched high and low, visited literally dozens of locations and have found a space we hope to call home in the future. This year our goal was not only to find a location that held stunning visual appeal but house enough space to contain our vendors, activities and guests… with ample parking for all!
This year's event will be held at the Zembo Shrine in our state’s capitol. Harrisburg is a bit out of our usual footprint but those of you who have been long time participants of this event know that we have a faithful following that will follow wherever we go and the Zmebo is not only centrally located in the state but provided the possibility to house all of our vendors indoors along with entertainment and space to gather in beautiful and captivating historic building.
***ABOUT THE ZEMBO SHRINE***
Located at 2801 N 3rd St #2, Harrisburg, PA 17110, The Zembo Shrine Auditorium has been one of Harrisburg's premier event venues since it opened nearly 100 years ago. Owned and operated by Zembo Shriners, the members of Shriners International are all also members of the Masonic Fraternity and adhere to the principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. Zembo Shrine, and all Shrines throughout the world, share a philanthropy of Shriners Hospitals for Children. The closest Shriners hospital to our location is in Philadelphia.
The magnificent Zembo Shrine Center was completed in 1930 as the home to Harrisburg’s Masonic organizations. For over 85 years, it has been the location of many important performances, sports competitions, rallies and special events. Its Moorish Revival architecture was designed by noted Harrisburg architect, Charles Howard Lloyd. The 62,621 square foot building on 7.28 acres is a major landmark in Harrisburg and particularly in the uptown area. Its setting across the street from Italian lake and the former William Penn High School presents a tremendous opportunity for creative and imaginative uses for this picturesque neighborhood.
***VENDOR INFORMATION***
Please read the following details closely!
We are currently accepting vendors with handcrafted, upcycled, unique and theme appropriate items. We do not accept MLM or direct sales vendors. Only CRAFT FOOD (prepackaged, prepared off site) vendors may be accepted through this application.
Hot/prepared food and alcohol vendors may apply by contacting blackrockeventsco@gmail.com/
Due to the nature of the location set up and logistical specifications, load in will be different than usual so please be certain of the space you select and the criteria that come with it.
This venue consists of TWO floors of vending space that intrigues and delights. All floors are accessible at ground level for load in. However, because of the volume of vendors loading in such a short time, time slots will be staggered as they were last year between Friday and Saturday. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THE LOAD IN DATE/TIME WHEN SELECTING YOUR SPACE.
After choosing your space and receiving your submission confirmation email you can consider yourself booked. I will only reach out prior to November in the event I see a problem with your application. Approximately one month prior to the event I will release a link to set up details on the website. You are encouraged to check them when they are released and again prior to set up as additional details may be added. I will do my best to be as thorough and detailed in the information I provide as possible so please do your best to familiarize yourself with them all. Please remember that if you have questions it is best not to wait until the last minute to ask as the week of the event I will be on site making preparations and not monitoring my email regularly. The best way to get information is in the vendor group which can be found at blackrockeventsco.com/vendors.
Unfortunately, this year we can only fit a fraction of the vendor spaces as we have previously had and they will look a little different. Coupled with some of the changes that come along with moving to a fully indoor venue, we’ve had to re-imagine certain aspects of the event. Booths this year will be limited while table space with tables provided will be plentiful. Many of which will have ample backspace for additional displays or small tables. Such details will be included to the best of our abilities below to assist you in choosing your spot. Spaces will vary in cost and will be on a first come first served basis.
General Information:
No electricity is provided.
Lighting is house lighting. You are welcome to bring your own battery operated lighting. Please take note of accommodations when selecting your space.
While insurance is not required, you are encouraged to acquire a single day policy if you do not have one as you will be liable for any damages to the property. This venue is a historic building outfitted in spanish tile and hand painted frescos.
We have acquired a transient business privilege licence for the event so no Harrisburg BLP will be required to vend.
***ENTRY***
Each vendor space comes with admission for TWO. Discounted admission is offered to vendors and available as an add-on in this form. 12 and under is free.
***SPACES AVAILABLE***
To reduce congestion in the parking lot and pathways, load-in will again be held both FRIDAY and SATURDAY. ALL load-in selections (both Friday & Saturday) are welcome on Friday to minimize Saturday morning congestion. However if you select the Mistletoe Market with a Friday load in you MUST plan to arrive on Friday for load in. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. This serves to minimize congestion as space will be fully allocated to the event.
The entire building is ground level accessible but it is strongly suggested to bring a cart or wagon. It will be some distance from the lot to the event areas.
Table spaces come equipped with an 8ft table for your convenience.
You will need to provide all table coverings.
Absolutely no attaching ANYTHING to walls. No tape, tacks, nails, etc. The venue has been very specific about this due to the historic nature of the building. You are responsible for any damages created by your setup.
All areas will be part of a passport scavenger hunt and other features to draw guests to each area throughout the day.
The names of the buildings/spaces listed here are the official names. As usual, each space will be given a “krampusnacht” nickname such as the Krampusnacht Kristkindlemarkt or Mistletoe Market. I apologize if this causes confusion but return vendors should be familiar with this.
We will do our best to offer booth sitters once again. We appreciate your feedback on this.
REQUIRED FRIDAY LOAD IN
The Tile Room (Mistletoe Market)
There are both 8ft tables and 10x10 booth spaces in the Tile Room located on the main level. There will be interactive features in this space with minimal live musical entertainment. This space will be a good fit for those wishing to verbally engage with customers without loud distractions. This space is well lit with natural light with high ceilings and large cathedral style windows. It offers load in via stairs or ground level entry through the main auditorium. Restrooms are within the nearby vicinity.
RECOMMENDED FRIDAY LOAD IN (Saturday Permitted)
Fellowship Hall (Candlelight Court)
This space offers 8ft table spaces and a mix of various sized booth spaces. It is an ambiently lit space with painted fresco and chandeliers. You are welcome to bring additional lighting but due to the average height ceilings and hanging lights, booths will be separated by 3ft drape rather than 6ft. This area will house photo opportunities and interactive activities yet to be determined. Noise level will be moderate. We may have periodic, minimalistic live entertainment or amplified music but this will not be the epicenter of live entertainment. It is HIGHLY recommended to take advantage of a Friday load-in as this space will become congested.
Lower Dining Hall ( Crachit’s Corner)
This space is lit with moderate fluorescent lighting and will contain table spaces only. There will be a photo opportunity in this area throughout the day. Set up is reccomended for Friday as it will be a thoroughfare for set up to the Fellowship Hall.
Upper Hall (Wassail Way)
This space will be where the artists gallery show will be held and will not be open to vendors at this time.
Main Lobby (Yule Cat Coral)
This space will be allocated for sponsors, food and entertainment.
Auditorium (krampusnacht Kristkindlemarkt)
This area will be the main entertainment area with stage, live entertainment, costume contest and other event attractions. It is the largest area and is surrounded by stadium style seating. It will house both table spaces and 10x10 booth spaces. There is ample house lighting but you are welcome to bring along additional lighting if you wish. Load in is ground level and open to both Friday and Saturday. Please be aware that congestion is to be expected on Saturday morning.
SATURDAY ONLY LOAD IN
Outdoor attractions and Food Trucks (Gryla’s Grove)
Food trucks, outdoor demonstrations and entertainment setting up in this area will be required to set up Saturday morning for security purposes and MUST be ready to receive guests no later than 11am as this will be the entry point and a short pre-event gathering will be held in this area for waiting guests.
OTHER DETAILS
***PARKING***
The Zembo has three parking lots within immediate proximity with over 400 spaces. Load-in will be from the rear lot on 4th street and free vendor parking the day of the event will be at the Hadee Mosque adjacent to the Zembo across 3rd Street. Beyond that, there is ample free and paid public parking within walking distance along with multiple garages and public lots.
***RAIN DATES***
This will be considered a rain or shine event due to the indoor nature of the location and the difficulties in coordinating the many participants collaborating in the execution of an event this size. In the extreme event, activation of an inclement weather date of 12/6 will be announced 24-48 hours prior to the event if needed. In the event of a major system entering the area the event will be rescheduled with consideration to other commitments of our performers and vendors. No refunds will be made in the event of a weather date activation.
***FOOD VENDORS***
CRAFT FOOD vendors are required to submit a copy of your licensing and insurance information WITH your application on this form. If you are unlicensed, please contact us and we will be happy to help you get the appropriate licenses to become compliant with the PA Department of Agriculture. You will also need to provide a certificate of insurance naming both Black Rock Events and the Zembo Shrine as second insured. Please contact us at blackrockeventsco@gmail.com to get the needed information.
FOOD TRUCKS, WINERIES AND BREWERIES are being accepted but have a different application process. THIS IS NOT THE FORM FOR FOOD VENDORS AND ALCOHOL! Please contact Blackrockeventsco@gmail.com for info.

By submitting this application you agree not to hold any parties associated with this event (including but not limited to: Keystone Gold International LLC, Black Rock Events, The Zembo Shrine, Masonic Lodge) liable for theft, damages, injuries or any other loss. ***OTHER NEW STUFF***
Workshops & Private Events
This year we will have access to a small private space that can be used for various workshops, talks, activities and other secondary ticketed and non-ticketed events. If you have an activity, workshop or other event idea you would like to have considered for this space as a way to showcase your business please reach out with your proposal to blackrockeventsco@gmail.com.
After Market Online
This year I would like to offer our vendor the opportunity to continue engaging with customers and making sales throughout the season. We will be opening the PA Krampus Festival Fans Group on Facebook for a digital sale open to registered Krampusnacht vendors who attended the event only. If you registered but are unfortunately unable to attend you will not be able to participate.
This online market will begin Monday December 7th and run through December 31. Further rules and details will be specified closer to the event. In order to participate you must be registered and attend the event, agree to all rules and accept responsibility for conducting online business with honesty and integrity. Black Rock Events will not be responsible for sellers or buyers.
I know this was a lot but I hope it answers most of the questions you had. If you have any additional questions please reach out to blackrockeventsco@gmail.com. I’m happy to help however I can. Thanks for being part of another great event!
