The Rangers Athletic Club (RAC) is now accepting applications for AA Head Coach positions for the 2026–2027 hockey season.
RAC is committed to developing high-character athletes within our designated draw zone through strong leadership, knowledgeable coaching, and a positive, development-focused environment. Our AA programs emphasize skill development, confidence, accountability, and enjoyment of the game while supporting athletes as they progress along their hockey pathway.
Position Overview
AA Head Coaches with the Rangers Athletic Club are responsible for leading a development-driven program that supports individual athlete growth while fostering teamwork, responsibility, and respect. Head Coaches are expected to be strong teachers and mentors who create structured, inclusive, and supportive environments where athletes can learn and compete.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all on-ice and off-ice aspects of the AA team program
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, development-focused practices
- Create a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture
- Support athlete development in skill, decision-making, confidence, and teamwork
- Communicate clearly and professionally with athletes, assistant coaches, and families
- Work collaboratively with RAC administration, directors, and coaching staff
- Participate in coach meetings, evaluations, and development opportunities
