  • GEO, CFLeads and Community Foundation Opportunity Network are partnering to offer a two-day Governance Convening from Wednesday, October 7 - Thursday, October 8, 2026 in Chicago, IL hosted by The Chicago Community Trust.

    Registration via this form is required. Registration closes when we reach capacity; there are very limited spaces for this program so please register ASAP.

    To be considered for participation you must join as a pair (or trio): a President, CEO and/or Executive Director of a community foundation PLUS a board member of the same foundation. For organizations with shared leadership models, we welcome you to attend as a trio with co-staff leaders or two board members.

    This opportunity is open to current members of GEO, CFLeads and CFON as well as member-eligible organizations. 

    There is a non-refundable program fee for this convening which covers materials and meals throughout the convening. Participants cover their own travel, lodging and other associated costs with getting to and from the convening location. Scholarships and sliding scale pricing based on your organizational context is available; contact duffy@geofunders.org.

    Member program fee: $500 per person ($1,000 per organization)
    Non-member program fee: $1,000 per person ($2,000 per organization)
