Registration Disclaimer & Artwork Use Permission
By registering a child for this art contest, the parent or legal guardian (“Guardian”) acknowledges and agrees to the following terms on behalf of the child:
1. Parental/Guardian Consent
I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participating child and grant permission for my child to participate in this nonprofit-run art contest, which includes both online and in-person components.
2. Original Artwork
I confirm that the submitted artwork is original, created solely by the child, and does not violate or infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other rights of any third party.
3. Ownership
The child retains full ownership of the submitted artwork.
4. License to Use Artwork
I grant the nonprofit organization a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and share the submitted artwork, in whole or in part, for purposes related to the organization’s mission and the contest, including but not limited to:
Contest promotion and marketing
Websites, email communications, and social media
Online galleries and in-person exhibitions
Printed materials, reports, and educational materials
No compensation will be provided for such use.
5. Limited Child Information
I understand that the child’s first name, age, grade level, and artwork title may be displayed in connection with the artwork. No additional personal information will be publicly shared without further consent.
6. Online & In-Person Display
I acknowledge that artwork may be displayed publicly both online and at physical locations or events, and that online content may be shared or viewed by the public.
7. Photo & Video Release
I grant permission for photographs or video recordings of my child and/or my child’s artwork, taken during contest-related activities or events, to be used by the nonprofit for promotional, educational, or archival purposes without compensation.
8. Submission Handling
The organization is not responsible for lost, damaged, late, or incomplete submissions.
9. Right to Disqualify
The nonprofit reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with contest rules or contains inappropriate or offensive content.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting artwork, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to these terms and all contest rules.
