    Join us for a virtual mindful movement workshop on Thursday, March 12th, 2:00-3:00pm, with yoga teacher & occupational therapist Lian Norris! Complete this form to receive the Zoom link.
  • About Mindful Movement: 

    Lian Norris from YouCanYoga will be teaching a 1 hr mindful movement class for the LADN community! The intention of this class is to provide a safe space for people to explore movement, breath work, and mindfulness while in the comfort of their own homes!

    This class may utilize both a yoga mat (or any cushion/carpet/rug you may have at home!) and chair to provide various adaptations to fit individuals physical needs. Beginners are welcome! This class can be done entirely sitting or lying down.

  • Suggested Supplies

    It's okay if you don't have everything! Class activities vary, but we suggest having the following supplies:

    1. Yoga mat (or towel/rug/carpet/cushion/bed)

    2. Yoga blocks (or throw pillows)

    3. Yoga blanket (or towel)

    4. Yoga strap (or towel/belt)

    5. Chair that doesn't move - preferably something light, like a folding chair you can move easily.

    6. Water/beverage as needed

    Other tips: It may be beneficial to position your camera so Lian can see your whole body to be able to provide better individual guidance during the practice! (It is also totally fine if you prefer to have your camera off!)

  • Optional Donation to Cover Class Costs:

    This workshop is free for LADN Members (dysautonomia patients & caregiveres)! However, if you are in a position to make a small donation to help cover the instructor fee and related costs for this workshop, we would be very appreciative! Donations, including recurring, can be made here.
