To qualify as a Conqueror Class member:
- Petitioners must submit documentation demonstrating unbroken descent from William the Conqueror and his wife Matilda of Flanders. There is a genealogist fee of $5 per generation submitted for review.
To qualify as a Companion Class member:
- Petitioners must attach a proven lineage demonstrating unbroken descent from one of the 39 known companions of William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings. There is a genealogist fee of $5 per generation submitted for review.
Types of files accepted:
- GED files are preferred, but not required.
- Images of sources may be helpful for certificates and rare material.
- Will accept: pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, txt, rtf, html, zip, mp3, wma, mpg, flv, avi, jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
