JOB DESCRIPTION
The Hong Kong Programme Officer will provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Hong Kong Programme Team.
This role is key to ensuring smooth implementation of programme activities, effective stakeholder engagement, and high-quality reporting to drive impactful outcomes.
- Oversee the implementation of the projects enhancing child mental wellbeing through creative ways (e.g. sport) , and monitor overall progress to ensure the project is completed within approved budget and timelines.
- Coordinate with project partners and key stakeholders to promote effective communication, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality services.
- Establish and maintain connections with diverse stakeholders especially schools and NGOs etc. in order to explore opportunities for delivering supportive programmes.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, financial reports, and evaluation to assess project outcomes and impact.
- Explore and contribute to the development of appealing promotional materials, case studies, and other communication content to showcase project impact.
- Undertake additional assignments as directed by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree holder in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience in charity, social services, sports management, or related fields. Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates will be considered as Assistant Officer.
- Possess a can-do attitude and willing to learn. Strong interpersonal and communications skill, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from different sectors and backgrounds.
- Knowledge in project/ sports/ event management, familiar with community resources, school and social welfare systems in Hong Kong is a plus.
- Proficiency in AI tools to enhance work efficiency and design/ editing software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Canva, video editing tools) is highly desirable.
- Self-initiated and responsible personality, able to work independently and multi-tasking with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work outdoors and weekends or public holidays as required.
- Strong alignment to Save the Children’s mission and vision.
APPOINTMENT TERMS
This post is on a two-year contract basis.
