The Mongol Ecology Center is looking for Mongolian volunteer environmental educators for our Junior Ranger summer camps, which will take place in national parks across Mongolia from July 8 - July 23, 2026.
Come be a part of this year's camp to support environmental education initiatives and help prepare the next generation of environmental stewards through hands-on, outdoor learning experiences.

Candidates will be selected after reviewing applications and calling potential candidates for an interview.
Responsibilities:
- Attend virtual orientation meeting and planning meetings prior to the camp
- Ensure the successful planning, implementation and outcomes of the assigned games, lessons and activities of the program
- Work with your partner counselor on roles and responsibilities on facilitating the assigned games and lessons
- International counselors will plan english lessons for assigned sessions
- Ensure the physical and mental well-being of participants (students from 6th through 8th grade)
Eligibility
- Be 18 years old or above
- Must be willing to spend time to prepare lessons and activities prior to the camp
- Both Mongolian and International volunteers must be fluent English
Preferred experience:
- Experience working with children in a camp setting, tutoring, or teaching
- A first-aid certification or experience attending first-aid training
- Background in environmental science, biology, ecology, conservation, outdoor education, science communication, or related fields
