    Cletus A. Broecker Award
  • All undergraduate members of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to be nominated for consideration. This individual award is presented in recognition of the undergraduate whose efforts have provided the greatest contribution to a philanthropy and/or community service project sponsored by the chapter or another organization during the last biennium. Members can be nominated by the chapter, alumni volunteers or an alumni club.

    Justice Curtis Shake Province Archon Award
  • All duly appointed Province Archons of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to be nominated for consideration. This individual award is presented in recognition of a Province Archon who excelled in their position during the last biennium. Members can be nominated by a chapter, alumni volunteer or an alumni club.

    Harold Jacobsen Award
  • All undergraduate members of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to be nominated for consideration. This individual award is presented in recognition of the outstanding leadership an undergraduate brother provides on campus at his college or university during the last biennium. Members can be nominated by the chapter, alumni volunteers or an alumni club.

    Lyle Smith Chapter Advisor Award
  • All duly appointed Chapter Advisors of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to be nominated for consideration. This individual award is presented in recognition of the outstanding Chapter Advisor during the last biennium. Members can be nominated by the chapter, alumni volunteers or an alumni club.

    Michael P. Carey Award
  • All undergraduate members of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to be nominated for consideration. This individual award is presented in recognition of the outstanding leadership of an undergraduate brother within the chapter during the last biennium. Members can be nominated by the chapter, alumni volunteers or an alumni club.

    Dr. Robert L. Burns Award Faculty Advisor Award
  • The Dr. Robert L. Burns Award Faculty Advisor Award award is for dedication and service to Sigma Pi Fraternity and is awarded to the Faculty Advisor who has best performed their responsibilities during the biennium. Any Faculty Advisor (member of Sigma Pi or non member), who shall have served for two consecutive academic years including the year for which the award is presented is eligible. The Faculty Advisor may be nominated by the undergraduate chapter he/she serves, by the Chapter Advisor, Province Archon or university official. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. A supporting statement not to exceed two pages in length and speaking to the below criteria must accompany the nomination.

    Outstanding Campus Employee Award
  • The Outstanding Campus Employee Award award is for dedication and service to Sigma Pi Fraternity and is awarded to the campus employee who has best performed their responsibilities during the biennium. Any campus employee that has aided the chapter to be successful within the years for which the award is presented is eligible. The Campus Employee may be nominated by the undergraduate chapter they work with, by the Chapter Advisor, Province Archon, or a university official. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. A supporting statement not to exceed two pages in length and speaking to the below criteria must accompany the nomination.

    Guy “Red” Mackey Outstanding Sportsmanship Award
  • All undergraduate members of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to be nominated for consideration. This individual award is presented in recognition of a brother who has made outstanding contributions in the field of athletics.

    Young Alumni Volunteer Award
  • The Sigma Pi Young Alumni Volunteer Award may be awarded to a Sigma Pi alumnus who, over the course of a Biennium, has demonstrated outstanding service as a volunteer to Grand Chapter, Sigma Pi Chapter, Colony Alumni Club, or their university’s Fraternity & Sorority Life system. Eligible nominees must be between the ages of 22 and 35 years old by July 1st of the Biennium Convocation year; and must be a Sigma Pi Alumnus in good standing with the Grand Chapter, as well as having earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree by July 1st of the Biennium Convocation year. Nominations may be made to the Sigma Pi Alumni Services Department by June 20th of the Biennium Convocation year and must include a 250-word essay describing how the nominee has met the requirements of this award and demonstrated the values and ideals of Sigma Pi as a volunteer. Province Archon’s & Colony/Chapter Advisors who are recognized by the Executive Office are ineligible for this award.

    Young Professional Achievement Award
  • The Sigma Pi Young Professional Achievement Award may be awarded to a Sigma Pi alumnus who, over the course of a Biennium, has earned a level of outstanding achievement in their career and/or public service to their community regardless of their contribution or involvement with the Sigma Pi Fraternity or a Sigma Pi Chapter, Colony or Alumni Club. Eligible nominees must be between the ages of 22 and 35 years old by July 1st of the Biennium Convocation year and must be a Sigma Pi Alumnus in good standing with the Grand Chapter; as well as having earned a minimum of a bachelor’s degree by June 20th of the Biennium Convocation year.

    Most Improved Chapter Award Application
  • All undergraduate chapters of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to submit an application for consideration. To apply for this award, a chapter must submit a completed application and have completed the Chapter Report Card. This award recognizes the chapter that has shown the greatest improvement during the biennium. 

  • NOTE: Rank On Campus questions are not required if your chapter is independent from the university. If chapter is independent, just enter a "1" into the field.

    Outstanding Alumni Club Award
  • All undergraduate chapters of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to submit an application for consideration. To apply for this award, a chapter must submit a completed application and have completed the Chapter Report Card. Given biennially to the Alumni Club that goes above and beyond with engaging alumni for their area.

    Byron R. Lewis Academic Award
  • All undergraduate chapters of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to submit an application for consideration. The Byron R. Lewis Academic Award recognizes the chapter that has maintained the best chapter grade point average over the course of the biennium. Please upload a document (PDF, DOC, DOCX, etc.) that contains chapter GPA information starting in the fall semester. Include the chapter’s grade point average, the all-men’s average for the campus, the all-fraternity average for the campus, and the chapter’s rank compared to other fraternities on campus.

    Louis Foley Newsletter Award (Alumni)
  • All alumni organizations of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to submit an application for consideration. This award is presented annually to the alumni organization that has published the most outstanding alumni newsletter during the academic year. Winning selections are chosen based upon editorial excellence (subject matter and composition), pictorial excellence (subject matter and reproduction), alumni coverage (news about alumni and news of interest to alumni),typographic appearance (format and make-up,readability, and organization), and frequency of issue. The term of competition shall include the last two academic years which make up the biennium. All applications must include a copy of the newsletters that were published during the year for which the alumni organization is applying.

    William J. Cutbirth, Jr. Award – Philanthropy
  • All undergraduate chapters of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to submit an application for consideration. This award recognizes the chapter with the best overall philanthropic program. This includes charitable acts or other good works that benefit your campus or community. The term of the award shall include a project that was undertaken during the most recent biennium.

    William J. Cutbirth, Jr. Award – Community Service
  • All undergraduate chapters of Sigma Pi Fraternity are eligible to submit an application for consideration. This award recognizes the chapter with the best overall community service program. This includes volunary work that is intended to help people in your community. The term of the award shall include a project that was undertaken during the most recent biennium.
