  • First-Year Orientation is a two-day immersive campus experience that helps first-year students acclimate to life at Worcester State University. The program begins at 10:30am on the first day of your chosen session. You can choose to stay overnight on campus or commute to campus for the program.

  • Please select your major from the list below.

    If you are planning to double-major, please select your primary major.

    If you are a double major in Education and another program, please choose Education. If you are a minor in Education, please select your major program.

  • Overnight Stay Information

  • All students who attend Orientation have the option of staying on campus overnight in Sheehan Hall, one of our first-year residence halls. We strongly recommend that you consider participating in the overnight, as it allows you to fully immerse yourself in the Orientation experience, participate in all of the late-night activities, and continue to spend time with your group members and meet new friends for the fall.

    If you are attending Orientation with a friend, you will be able to room together for the overnight; those wishing to room together must check in at the same time. All rooms are doubles.

    The overnight costs $20, paid in cash or check, due when you check in for your session in June.

  • If you require an accommodation to fully participate in this event, please send an email to accessibility@worcester.edu and a staff member will contact you. We require at least 2 weeks advance notice for ASL or CART services and at least 5 business days advance notice for other types of accommodations.
