Photo & Media Release

By registering for this activity, I grant permission to Rising Trails, Inc. to photograph, video record, or otherwise capture images and audio of myself and any children or minors in my care during this activity.

I understand that these images or recordings may be used by Rising Trails, Inc. for educational, promotional, and informational purposes, including but not limited to websites, social media, printed materials, presentations, and reports.

I understand that names or identifying information will not be shared without additional permission and that no compensation will be provided for the use of these images or recordings.

I release and hold harmless Rising Trails, Inc., its officers, board members, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims related to the use of these images or recordings.

** If I do not wish for photos or video of myself or children in my care to be used, I understand that I must notify Rising Trails, Inc. in writing prior to the start of the activity at risingtrailsnm@gmail.com

Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

I understand that hiking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, weather conditions, wildlife, and physical exertion. I voluntarily choose to participate in this activity.

I agree to assume full responsibility for myself and for any children or minors in my care. I understand that parents, guardians, and participating families are responsible for the supervision, behavior, and well-being of their children at all times.

I agree to follow all instructions, safety guidelines, and directions provided in the confirmation and during the actity by Rising Trails, Inc., its volunteers, leaders, and staff. I understand that failure to follow directions may result in removal from the activity.

I release and hold harmless Rising Trails, Inc., its officers, board members, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in this activity, except in cases of gross negligence.

By registering, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this agreement and agree to its terms.
