Mobile Memory Lab Digitization Day
We are partnering with our library consortium SHARE to host a Mobile Memory Lab Digitization Day on March 14, 2026. During the event, SHARE staff will help library patrons digitize artifacts such as photographs, realia, letters, and other documents. The digitized materials will be added to the Illinois Digital Archives. Please complete the following form to register for a digitization appointment.

Appointments
For a 30-minute appointment, we recommend patrons bring no more than 10-15 items. A letter, a small pamphlet, a photograph, and a pocket watch are all examples of individual items. Larger items, such as scrapbooks and genealogy binders, are welcome, but they do take longer to digitize. If you have more than 15 items or any larger items, please complete this form twice and select two back to back 30-minute appointments. Please prioritize which items you would like digitized first, as time is limited during each appointment.
