  • Inclusive Employer Recognition Program

Building workplaces where everyone can thrive.
  • HOW IT WORKS

  • The Southeast Alberta Workplace Inclusion Charter (WIC) is a locally-driven, no-cost toolkit and recognition program supporting employers to create more inclusive workplaces in the Southeast Alberta.
  • WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

  • Any employer with workplaces in Southern Alberta can participate in this free program. We encourage businesses, non-profits, and government organizations of all sizes to join the program and take these practical steps to build more inclusive workplaces.
  • WHY PARTICIPATE?

  • Inclusive workplaces are not just socially responsible; they are a strategic business advantage driving profitability, innovation, reputation, and long-term sustainability.

Increased Awareness: Build awareness of your employees' diverse needs and support them in meaningful ways, leading to higher satisfaction and stronger productivity.
Enhanced Reputation: Inclusive employers gain a positive reputation that helps bring in skilled candidates, while saving time and resources on recruitment and onboarding.
Better Retention: An inclusive workplace fosters belonging and commitment, improving talent retention and reducing the costs of turnover.
