2026 NRHyA CINCH Speaking Contest

Contestants may enter one or more of the divisions listed below. Entries must be submitted via this form by June 15, 2026.
Age division will be determined by the contestants' age as of January 1, 2026. Each division will be split into two age groups: 14-18 and 13 & Under

Prepared Public Speaking

Contestants will deliver a four- to eight-minute speech on a leadership or equestrian-related topic.

Community Service Presentation

Conestants will create and deliver a six- to 10-minute presentation that illustrates and explains a community service project they have completed.

The section of A:General to be delivered is as follows:

14-18:

To rein a horse is not only to guide him, but also to control his every movement. The best reined horse should be willingly guided or controlled with little or no apparent resistance and dictated to completely. Any movement on his own must be considered a lack of control. All deviations from the exact written pattern must be considered a lack of/or temporary loss of control and therefore a fault that must be marked down according to severity of deviation.

13 & Under:
