Participant Rules, Etiquette, and Tips for Success
Prepare a Pitch: Have a brief introduction ready that covers who you are, what you do, and what you are looking for.
Respect the Timer: When the buzzer or bell sounds, switch partners immediately to maintain the event flow. Each round will last 3.5 minutes, followed by a 20-second transition period. Remember, the goal is to make multiple professional connections quickly by engaging in a series of brief, focused conversations with various individuals. There is plenty of time to follow up with connections throughout the rest of the conference.
Stay for the Full Event: To ensure everyone has the opportunity to meet the full group, participants are expected to stay for the entire 90-minute networking session. We've built in some time at the end of the event for general networking.
Exchange Information Efficiently: Bring plenty of business cards or a digital contact-sharing method, like a LinkedIn QR code, in order to save time.
