Information Request Form

Use this form to request brief local history or family history research from the Topeka Room staff. If you need more extensive research support, you may schedule a one-on-one appointment with local history staff or genealogy staff. During that session, we can walk you through the tools, collections, and resources available to help with your research.

INSTRUCTIONS

You may submit up to three (3) questions or obituary lookups per request.

Please note that our staff are not independent researchers. We can dedicate up to 15 minutes of search time to each question, so providing as much detail as possible will help us assist you effectively. Please be as specific as possible.

For obituary requests, include citation from the Obituary Index (name, birth/death dates). For local history lookups, include dates and locations.
