Eventing participants will enjoy a balanced instruction program that blends flatwork precision, show jumping techniques and cross country schooling, allowing riders to build skills across disciplies in a supportive environment.
Have a young horse you're eager to bring along? This is the perfect opportunity to thoughtfully and confidently continue their education. The quiet Vermont setting, varied terrain and well maintained facilities along with the GMHA trail system provide real world experiences for a young horse.
Unable to commit for the full week? GMHA members may take advantage and enjoy a special member perk and ride with show jump clinitian Bobby Costello in a group lesson or take a private dressage lesson with one of the outstanding dressage clinicians. (NOTE: Available Friday only. Separate ride fee applies).
Dressage lessons are private, forty-five minute sessions. Show jumping lessons run ninety minutes and held in small groups of four to five riders of similar ability. Cross country jumping lessons are groups of 4-5 riders of comparable levels and run 90 minutes.
