Line-up is the first application in last out in each category!!

 

Division I Registration at 8am – Pageant will begin at 10am (Beauty first then Melon Wear)

Prizes & Winnings

 

 Melon Supreme Winners:  Supreme titles will be awarded to both boys and girls division breakdowns (0-23mos, 2/4 yrs, 5/8yrs, 9/12yrs, 13&up) with the highest score of (Beauty & Melon Wear combined)

 Beauty Kings/Queens: There will be a winner per age group. Winners will receive a beautiful crown & sash. (Winner will be the contestant with the highest score of beauty only for each age division) Runners up will receive nice trophies. No one leaves empty handed!

 Beauty Prince/Princess: There will be a winner per age group. Winners will receive a beautiful crown & sash. (Winner will be the contestant with the 2nd highest score of beauty only for each age division) Runners up will receive nice trophies. No one leaves empty handed!

 Melon Wear: Can be hand- made or off the rack. Winners will receive a director’s gift. Music will be provided by our DJ Kyle Mills, please email him (soundguymills@yahoo.com) or contact him on Facebook. Make sure you reference this pageant in the subject line as he DJ’s for many, if you do not choose music will be provided for you. Contestants will be judged on personality, stage presence and originality. Modeling is of choice;

Side Events (Best Smile, Hair, Eyes) Winners in each division per pageant - will receive a nice gift for each event.

Sportsmanship: We do not tolerate bad sportsmanship. Anyone showing bad sportsmanship OR Bad behavior before/during/or after the pageant will be disqualified without a refund and will forfeit their title and will not be able to participate in future events in which we direct including Festival pageants!

 Score Sheets: All judges’ decisions are final! All score sheets are final! Score sheets will be emailed after the pageant, make sure to list an email address on the application.

 Door Admission: Each contestant will be allowed 1 chaperone back-stage and will receive 1 chaperone badge – there are no men allowed in the dressing rooms. Pageant Admission: $10 for everyone – children 5 & under are free. Arm bands will be given the day of the pageant are asked to be worn.

 Parade: Winners will be asked to ride in the festival parade. You must provide your own transportation and contact the parade director to reserve your spot in the parade line up. See Parade application details on the festival website.

Pageant rules:

We are looking for that Natural Beauty & Elegance on stage!!! 

Boys dress clothes can be suit, tux, or Sunday’s best!

Beauty wear for girls, wear any dress of choice. Do not let the dress overpower your child

We are looking for a PRETTY face and personality!  No wigs, falls, cascades or wiglets of any kind!

AGES 5& UP May wear Natural extensions or Halos only to enhance the fullness and texture (this is not to be teased or look like a GLITZ head piece) your hair is to be Simple, Soft and Sweet. Think about LMSC style.

 No flippers, fake teeth, fake eyelashes, this will count against you! 

 

Girls 0-2yrs: No make-up is allowed - looking for that natural beauty, wear any dress of choice (short dresses) with white socks and white shoes. Diaper covers if needed. Instead of being judged on modeling - they will be judged on spirit and poise. 

 Ages 3-8: Wear any dress of choice short or long dresses. Light make-up (blush, mascara, lip gloss - light eye shadow) Dresses and makeup should be age-appropriate and not overpower the girls. Contestants will be judged on modeling. personality, beauty, and poise.

 Girls 9 & up: Age-appropriate make-up, may wear any dress of choice. Contestants will be judged on modeling, personality, beauty, and poise. Think Scholarship pageant attire/makeup!

I hereby agree to hold the festival committee, staff & facility of where pageant is held, completely harmless for any events which occur before, during, or after the pageant, including but not limited to; theft, illness, injury, accident, sickness, etc. I understand that I enter this pageant at my own risk and assume full responsibility for my own property and person. I understand that the decision of the judges is final and unsportsmanlike conduct by me or any members of my family may be grounds for disqualification without refund! I understand that no refunds will be given once received for ANY circumstances- unless the Pageant Director cancels the event. I give permission for photos taken during and after this pageant to be used in promotion of the pageant system. By signing and submitting this application, I agree that I am the legal guardian or contestant. All information contained herein is true and accurate to the best of my ability and I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the pageant. We reserve the right to combine or delete age/gender divisions if less than 2 contestants per division. Director also reserves the right to titles and prizes. Please read and sign the attached Rules and Regulations.

Signature Awards:  You do not have to collect signatures to enter the pageant – however you may collect to pay your entry fee or it’s a great way to earn extra awards. All signatures are $1 each or however much the person(s) would like to donate. You may also get business sponsors. If you get an ad sponsor, please be sure to get their business card, as we will advertise them on the program. If you collect the following (not) going towards your entry fees you will receive the following awards:    

$50 – tiara & sash                                          

$175 – tiara, gift, trophy, sash                       

$200 – tiara, gift, large trophy, sash      

$300 – Your entry fees paid to the pageant, large crown, scepter, 6ft – single post trophy and will be crowned as our Sweetheart Winner.

Ambassador Winner: The contestant who raises the most money will be crowned with our Ambassador Winner. Your entry fees are paid to the pageant, large crown, scepter, 6ft – 4 post trophy and an elegant robe.

 Signature awards DO-NOT have anything to do with the actual winners of the pageant! This is an extra way to raise money for the pageant and in return you win PRIZES!!! Judges do not know about these awards and have no idea who participates.
