  • FASFA and Educational Grants

    Applicants are expected to complete the FASFA and explore available education related grants or tuition funding. An Academic Recovery Success Coach is available to assist with this if support if needed.
  • Required Documents and Applicant Agreement

    Upload required documents and provide your verification and consent.
  •  Letters of Recommendation & Good Standing Verification

    All applicants must submit the following documentation for review by the SOS Scholarship Committee. 

    Two (2) Non-Family letters of recommendation

    Letters must address the applicants character, recovery stablity, readiness for academic or vocational success, and personal growth. 

    Each letter must include: 

    • Recommender's full name
    • Title and relationship to applicant
    • Organization (if applicable)
    • Phone number and/or email
    • Signature (electronic signatures acceptable)
    • Date

    Family members may not serve as recommenders. 

    Good Standing & Sobriety Verification

    Applicants must provide written verification confirming: 

    A minimum of six (6) months of continued sobriety

    • Current recovery stability
    • Accountability and responsible conduct

    For SOS residents or alumni; verification must come from SOS leadership or an approved designee.

     

    Note:

    Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the SOS Scholarship Committee.
