    Skin sensitivities, breathing, spinal health

  • French Bulldogs may face skin conditions such as puppy pyoderma, yeast overgrowth, and demodex mange. Prevention includes a healthy, balanced diet low in sugars and carbohydrates and use of a quality parasite prevention (we use Simparica Trio). 

    Frenchies are brachycephalic with shortened noses, making them sensitive to heat and cold, with risks of overheating and breathing complications like BOAS, sometimes requiring surgery.

    IVDD is another serious health concern causing paralysis or death, with treatment costs ranging from $500 to over $8,000.

    Mom & dad have no known allergies or serious health conditions, however we strongly advise that you take time to properly inform yourself on these and other common issues known to affect french bulldogs.

  • Price and Budget Considerations

  • We want to be transparent about the costs involved in bringing home a French Bulldog puppy.

    French Bulldogs can be expensive due to extensive health screenings—like OFA clearances and genetic testing—as well as specialized reproductive care, including C-section births and high-quality diets.

    Because of these factors, French Bulldog puppies typically range from $4,000 to $7,000.

    All of our puppies are initially sold as pets.*

    *Please note: We do offer an option to upgrade to full breeding rights if desired, for an additional $1,000 - after the dog has been health-screened (French Bulldog Genetic Panel) and determined to be a suitable breeding prospect. Financial incentives are available (up to $500 discount) if above-and-beyond health screenings are completed.
