What to Expect
This is an introductory workshop designed for those with limited or no previous exposure to POGIL pedagogy. This is a very learner-centered, active-learning workshop.
Participants will engage with teammates and workshop facilitators to:
- Identify the essential elements of POGIL.
- Complete POGIL activities & observe classroom facilitation strategies.
- Incorporate the development of key process (21st century) skills into POGIL lessons.
- Explore the Learning Cycle and the structure of POGIL activities.
