  • Please Note: Every effort will be made to accomodate reservation requests. Once your registration is processed, you will receive an email, confirming the dates your child will be able to attend camp. Your child will be put on the Wait List for any dates we can not immediately accomodate.

    Please know, the Wait List is heavily monitored, throughout the week. You will receive an email if/when your child has been moved from the Wait List to the Camp Schedule.

    We strive to move the Wait List as much as possible, as far in advance as possible. However, some requested dates simply do not open up or do not open up, until the last minute. As stated, we continue monitoring for open dates, through the week prior to your requested dates. If we are not able to accommodate, you will receive an email communicating this, possibly as late as the week prior to your requested dates.

  • Great Escape Day Camp – Medical Information

    If a medical emergency arises at any time while your child is at Great Escape, we will contact you immediately regarding care and treatment of your child. However, if the staff and/or volunteers deem a situation life threatening, they will seek treatment while trying to reach you concurrently.

  • Camper Drop Off / Pick Up Procedure & Full or Half Day Reservations

  • Great Escape 2026 is an 8-week program open Monday–Friday from 7:30am–5:30pm.

    Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedure

    A parent/guardian (or designated adult) is required to pick up their camper(s) from camp.

    • Parents/guardians must indicate at check-in who is authorized to pick up their camper(s).
    • If there is a change in pick-up plans, a parent/guardian must contact the Camp Office at greatescape@harderwyk.com or (616) 928-0306 to notify us.
    • Please be prepared to show a photo ID if requested at check-out.
      Campers will not be released to anyone who refuses to show proper identification when asked.

    Camper Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times:  

    • Morning Camper Drop Off Time is from 7:30am-9:00am.
    • Half-Day or Mid-Day Drop-Off/Pick-Up Time is from Noon-1:00pm.
      • Applicable to elementary age (Speedsters, Cruiser, Hot Rods) campers, only.
    • Afternoon Camper Pick Up Time is from 4:00pm-5:30pm.

    Late Pick-Up Fees:

    • After 5:30pm, a fee of $5 per five minutes will be charged.
    • After 15 minutes, a $20 fee will be charged and will double with each additional 15-minute increment.
    • In the rare event of an emergency, please contact the Camp Office at (616) 928-0306 as soon as possible.

    Full Day Reservations:

    A Full Day Reservation allows your camper(s) to attend from 7:30am–5:30pm.

    • The latest drop off time for campers with a Full Day Reservation is 9:00am.
    • The earliest pick-up time for campers with a Full Day Reservation is 4:00pm.

    Half Day Reservations:

    Families of elementary age campers (Speedsters, Cruisers, or Hot Rods) are more than welcome to schedule half days, at camp.  

    AM Half Day

    7:30am–1:00pm

    • Latest drop-off: 9:00am
    • Earliest pick-up: Noon

    PM Half Day

    Noon–5:30pm

    • Latest drop-off: 1:00pm
    • Earliest pick-up: 4:00pm

    Half Day drop-off/pick-up occurs during the Noon–1:00pm window.

    If your camper is not scheduled for a half day and you need to drop off after 9:00am or pick up before 4:00pm, your next opportunity will be the Last Minute Mid-Day Pick-Up/Drop-Off window (Noon–1:00pm). Please see below.

    Last Minute Mid-Day Pick-Up/Drop-Off Times:

    • We cannot accommodate late drop-offs (e.g., 9:45am) or early pick-ups (e.g., 2:00pm). However, we understand that life happens.
    • For elementary campers only, you may contact the Camp Office to arrange a Last Minute Mid-Day drop-off or pick-up during the Noon–1:00pm window.

    Please Note:

    • If you reserved a full day and require a Last Minute Mid-Day adjustment, the full-day fee will still apply.
    • All schedule adjustment requests require 7 days’ notice to avoid fees.
    • There are no Half Day or Last Minute Mid-Day options for Super T’s.

  • Great Escape Youth Camp - 2026 Financial Agreement

  • Registration

    Pre-registration is required for all campers. Advanced reservations are recommended. Camp does fill up and is done on a first come, first-serve basis.

    Payments

    To register your child for the summer, a onetime $30 per camper registration fee AND payment for your child’s first week of camp must be submitted.

    After completing this application, you will receive an invoice for the registration fee and first week of camp. Your camper’s space (or waitlist placement) is confirmed once payment is received.

    Please note: All advance payments are non-refundable.

    Ongoing Weekly Payments

    • Payments are due each Friday for the upcoming week.
    • Invoices will be sent via Square.
    • Payment methods accepted: Credit Card, Check, or Cash.

    Check Payments

    Please make checks payable to Neighbors Plus and include your camper’s name and the dates you are paying for in the memo line. A $15 service fee will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds.

    Cash Payments
    Place cash in an envelope labeled with:

    • Camper’s name
    • Dates being paid for
    • Total amount enclosed

    Late or Missed Payments
    Failure to pay on time may result in your child(ren) being removed from the camp schedule.

    Failure to have your account paid in full by August 14, 2026 will result in your child(ren) being ineligible to register for future summer camps.

    Camp Fees

    Weekly Rates:

    Weekly Rate for Speedsters, Cruisers, & Hot Rods:

    • $225/week for the first child.
    • $210 per week for each additional child from immediate family.

    Weekly Rate for Super T’s:

    • $245 for the first child.
    • $230 per week for each additional child from immediate family.

    Daily Rates:

    Speedsters, Cruisers, & Hot Rods

    • $65/day for the first child
    • $60/day for each additional child in the immediate family

    Super T’s

    • $70/day for the first child
    • $65/day for each additional child in the immediate family

    Half-Day Rates
    (Elementary age campers only)

    Speedsters, Cruisers, & Hot Rods

    • $45 per half-day

    There are no half-day options for Super T’s.

    Reservation Changes

    • To add or cancel reservations for weeks in the future, please email your desired change, child’s name, and age group to greatescape@harderwyk.com. You will be informed by email if there is availability on the days you wish to add.
    • Cancelations must be received 7 days prior to the day you are canceling to avoid being charged. There are no refunds, make ups, or credits for changes made less than 7 days prior.
    • Payment is required if reservations are not canceled with seven days’ notice, whether or not your child attends camp. An email will be sent confirming any change after being processed. To inform the staff of an absence during camp, please email greatescape@harderwyk.com.

  • Neighbors Plus Great Escape – Church Facility Waiver

  • In consideration for their participation at Harderwyk Christian Reformed Church facility in Neighbors Plus programs onsite as well as offsite, the Adult / Parent and Child agree as follows:

    Adult / Parent and Child consent to participation and attendance in programs offered through Neighbors Plus which may include participation in off-site events or field trips. Adult / Parent and Child also give staff permission to transport Child to and from the program or activity if needed and to any off-site events. The Adult / Parent and Child represent that they are fully capable of and physically able to participate in the programs as well as any other activities offered by Neighbors Plus. The Adult / Parent or Child represent that they will not be under the influence of alcohol or any chemical substance. Any medication taken on site by campers will be specifically disclosed in writing to the Great Escape Director.

    By participating in the programs and activities, the Adult / Parent and Child realizes the risks of participating in such programs and activities. Neighbors Plus and church partners will take reasonable precautions to ensure that programs and activities at are conducted by qualified personnel in a responsible manner. However, the Adult / Parent and Child further acknowledge and accept that participation in the activities involve inherent risks and dangers. The Adult / Parent and Child understand that risk and injury might result from their own actions, inactions, or negligence; from the action, inaction, and negligence of others, or from the condition of the facility or any equipment used. The Adult / Parent and Child acknowledge that all the activities are strictly voluntary. It is always the responsibility of the Adult / Parent and/or Child to limit participation in any way he/she deems appropriate.

    Adult / Parent and Child give permission to use (including but not limited to taking photographs and making audio recordings or videos), without charge and without reservation, all or a portion my story including my likeness and my voice in promoting Neighbors Plus. Further, Adult / Parent and Child grant Neighbors Plus permission to use, without compensation, Child’s image, likeness, or voice in connection with any promotional materials including, but not limited to, brochures, advertising, and broadcasts. Adult / Parent and Child acknowledge that editorial changes may be made as deemed suitable by Neighbors Plus. Whether or not changes are made, I waive any rights of action I may have and release churches and Neighbors Plus from any and all claims I may have arising from the use, publication, and changes in the content, including any rights to sue for defamation or violation of rights of privacy or rights of publicity.   • By participating in programs and activities offered, the Adult / Parent and Child completely waive and release, on behalf of him or herself, and on behalf of his or her children and wards, churches, Neighbors Plus and persons including but not limited to their board members, officers, staff employees, and volunteers, from any and all claims, actions, suits, demands, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees), and damages of any nature arising out of or incidental to their use of church property or participation in Neighbors Plus programs and activities.

    The Adult / Parent and Child shall defend, hold harmless, and indemnify Harderwyk Christian Reformed Church, Neighbors Plus, its board members, officers, staff employees, and volunteers, from any and all claims, actions, suits, demands, losses, costs, expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees), injury, death, or damages caused by or resulting from their use of church property or participation in Neighbors Plus programs.
