Position Summary
The Golf Cart Attendant ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for golfers by managing the golf cart fleet, assisting guests, and maintaining a clean and organized environment around the clubhouse and cart areas.
Position Responsibilities
Customer Service
Greet members and guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Provide assistance with loading/unloading golf bags and equipment.
Offer directions, course information, and answer guest questions.
Ensure a welcoming atmosphere around the clubhouse and cart staging area.
Golf Cart Management
Prepare, stage, and assign carts for golfers before rounds.
Clean, power wash, remove trash, sanitize, and cycle in line of carts.
Perform daily inspections and report any cart damage or maintenance needs.
Ensure all carts are returned, gassed, and counted & secured at the end of the day.
Course & Facility Support
Monitor pace of play and provide assistance when needed.
Maintain cleanliness in and around the cart area, staging area, and parking lots.
Assist with tournaments, outings, and special events as directed.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all golf course policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or guest concerns to management.
Ensure carts are operated safely by both staff and guests.
Qualifications
Must be at least 14 years or older to work with a workers permit.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team.
Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Previous golf or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
