2027 Victorian Goldfields, Cycling & Walking Trails including Bowral Tulips and Canberra Floriade Festival
65 days Long Paddock Drive, Programmed for early September to early November 2027
Culture and history await you when visiting the Goldfield towns of Bendigo and Ballarat. These towns, world famous goldfields in the 1850’s, continue to preserve their rich history through the Central Deborah Mine in Bendigo and Sovereign Hill in Ballarat.
If you love cycling and/or walking, the rail trails are for you. Rail trails are the most enjoyable and relaxing way to cycle and walk. The gentle gradients and scenic vistas traverse picturesque countrysides, linking small towns and historic sites while offering a distinctive sense of adventure and opportunities to experience local hospitality. There are about 20 opportunities to enjoy cycling and/or walking on this LPD.
Included in this journey is the Bowral Tulips and the Floriade Festival where Canberra’s Commonwealth Park is transformed into a dynamic space of discovery and learning, all set amongst one million beautiful blooms.
