The 2026 Lamb and Wool Quilt Show will be held at the Scio Middle School Gymnasium. The show is free, and everyone is welcome to view the display of quilted Items and to vote for the People's Choice Award(s).

Quilt entries for all skill levels are welcome and encouraged, whether it is a first-time quilt or was made by an experienced quilter! Although we may or may not have judging and additional awards, the focus of this quilt show is for the appreciation of all entries.

• No food or drinks are permitted inside the Middle School during the quilt show.
• Please avoid touching or handling the displayed items.
• Only service animals are permitted inside the Middle School Gymnasium during the quilt show.
• Children are welcome with the supervision of adults.
• Quilts will be in a secure building when not displayed and a team of the Quilt Committee will monitor the quilts and viewers during display times.

• The entry fee is $5.00 for each person entering his/her quilted item(s).
• The entry fee for high school & youth quilter entries is waived.
• One completed registration form must be filled out for each entry.
• Entry items must be clean, and free of odor and pet hair.

Section 1: Name and contact information: Fill in name, age category, and phone number. If you do not wish to have your personal information public, you may write personal information on the back of your entry form.

Section 2: Category of your entry: Circle the 2-letter designation which identifies the type of your entry.

Section 3: Method of quilting: Circle the 2-letter designation for the appropriate categories.

If someone other than the person piecing the quilt top did the 'quilting', please identify the name of the person and/or business on the line below.

Section 4: Receipt (bottom section of the form which will be given to you at intake and is necessary for you or your designated person to retrieve the quilt entry item at the end of the show.)

Write the name of the person who will be collecting the quilt at the end of the show. The quilt committee will supply the identification number.

Section 5: upper right block at the top of column 2:

Measure your entry item. The length (top to bottom measurement of the item) is the first dimension to fill in, and the width is the second dimension. The quilt committee will fill out the remainder of this block.

Any item wider than 45 inches requires a 4 inch wide hanging sleeve. The hanging sleeve is the entrant's responsibility and must be safety-pinned or sewn at the top of the quilt backing material.

Note: historical entries are the only exception to this requirement and do not require a hanging sleeve.

Section 6: Quilt Title and block or pattern names: Please provide the name of the quilt, or provide a name for your creation and pattern or block names. Information about the blocks, quilting design, etc. allows others to increase your quilt knowledge.

Section 7: Additional Information: It is always fun to understand more of the process and components involved in making a quilt. This block allows the entrant to share some of that information in an abbreviated fashion and enhances the quilt show with the sharing of this knowledge. If you have more to add, you may attach a 3x5 index card to your entry form.

Registration forms are available at lambfair.com and one form must be completed for each item. Hard copies will be made available at the Scio Fire Hall and the Scio City Hall.

Items wider than 45-inches without a 4-inch hanging sleeve at the top can NOT be accepted.

Pickup entries (WITH RECEIPT RECEIVED DURING REGISTRATION ONLY) at Scio Middle School Gym door on Sunday, May 17th 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
