To all Traders & Exhibitors attending our events
Following past events, the club is now issuing guidelines for those attending our Train & Model Fairs and any other event arranged by us.
This has been made necessary for Insurance and Health & Safety requirements.
Do not block any thoroughfare or emergency exits.
No items to be placed so they become a trip hazard or obstruction.
• Do not take more space to the sides of your allocated area, or interfere with adjacent tables.
• No tables or other items are to be placed in front of your allocated area.
• No posters or banners are to be put in the pedestrian areas, or across emergency exits, or anywhere else without the club’s permission.
• No live steam or naked flames allowed at any time.
• No hot drinks to be taken outside the refreshment area unless in a lidded cup/mug.
• Exhibitors who receive reduced rates will be charged at full trader rate if anything is sold on their tables.
• No trader or exhibitor is to start packing up to leave the site earlier than 15 minutes before the closing time. This has caused complaints from people who come in late.
• Electric extension cables will be provided by the club. No cables or wires are to be put across walkways or pedestrian areas.
To help keep our event safe and running smoothly, all event traders and participating organisations operating stalls are advised to have their own insurance, including public/product liability cover where needed. Please make sure your policy is active and easy to share if we need to check it. Thanks for helping us create a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
