This fee covers my travel, 4 notarized signatures and mailing you the documents by USPS PRIORITY EXPRESS MAIL.
If there are additional documents requiring notary signatures totaling 5 or more signatures that need notarizing on initial visit, each additional notarized signature(s) are $15.00 each. I will re-quote you with an updated service fee.
For an additional fee, I also provide mailing your documents via FedEx Next Business Day Delivery (Evening, Afternoon or Mornings). I provide you the same services: my travel, notarize 4 signatures and mail you documents via FedEx instead.
There are two ways of getting your termination done.

1st way: Both Agree To Terminate The DDP
** 1st. You will have to speak to the inmate about wanting to terminate the Domestic Partnership between the two of you and explain to him that you are wanting him to sign the DDP termination application.
He must agree that he will sign it.
** 2nd. I will go ahead and start the Termination of DDP application and I will send you a photo image and get your approval of correctness of your application and request my service fee to be paid. I will start on your paperwork, so you don’t have to worry about it.
Please send me a copy of your Certificate of Registered Domestic Partnership:
** 3rd. I will request a time and day from KVSP to visit him, so I can get his signature on the termination of DDP.
** 4th. After the notary assignment. I will take a photo image of the paperwork and send it to you and I will return your original paperwork to you via USPS Mail or FedEx Delivery.

2nd way: One Person Does Want To Terminate The DDP And The Other Person Does Not Want To Terminate The DDP
1st. Speak to the inmate about terminating the Domestic Partnership and you are wanting him to sign it and he refuses to sign the Termination of DDP.
2nd. You will need to visit your Family Court or visit a paralegal in your area or visit an attorney in your area and tell them you want to file for Divorce of DDP with the inmate.

3rd. Once your Petition has been filed and accepted by the court. A copy of the petition the court summons and blank Proof of Service will be given to you.
The copy of the petition and court summons must be personally delivered to the inmate.
You cannot deliver the summons and petition yourself. You would hire my services (process server). You will email me the entire packet (pdf) that needs to be given to the inmate.
I will hand deliver and serve the paperwork to the inmate to complete this task/assignment.
4th. I will e-file the Proof of Service (P.O.S.) to the court if it’s filed in California. You will get a copy of the P.O.S. Once the court accepts the P.O.S., you will be notified by the court and/or by me.
If your court does not accept e-file, I’ll mail you the PROOF OF SERVICE so it can be dropped off at the Family Court.
