This Initial Consultation Form sets forth the terms and conditions of the initial consultation meeting between Multicultural Immigration Inc. and you, the undersigned prospective client (s).
The initial consultation will allow us to:
● learn more about you and your particular immigration needs based on the information you provide;
● answer your questions to thebest of our ability;
● identify your options and, to the extent possible, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives;
● help you determine your course of action, if any;
●discuss our fees and terms of representation if a consultant-client relationship is to be established after the meeting, and;
● determine the next steps in the process, as appropriate.
All information and documents that you provided to us at the initial consultation shall remain strictly confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of this consultation and any subsequent representation.
For licensee/s in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, our RCIC is bound by the By-Laws and the Code of Professional Conduct and Regulations. However, completion of this form does not establish a consultant-client relationship. A consultant-client relationship is only formed after a retainer agreement is signed by both the lawyer and the client.
For lawyer/s, the consultation is subject to the principles of solicitor-client confidentiality. However, completion of this form does not establish a lawyer-client relationship. A lawyer-client relationship is only formed after a retainer agreement is signed by both the lawyer and the client.
The Client is obliged to pay a fee of C$120 plus GST before scheduling an initial consultation. The duration of the consultation is 30minutes. The payment needs to be received by our office at least 1 business day prior to the meeting. If payment is not received within the specified time, the session will be cancelled, and the slot will be provided to another client.
The consultation will be scheduled on a mutually available time via email with a link to the meeting. Note: Cancelling your scheduled consultation will incur an administrative fee of $55.
Following the initial consultation, if you decide to proceed and retain our services, a separate Retainer Agreement will be executed by both parties.
By signing this Initial Consultation Form, you acknowledge that the advice provided during the initial consultation does not constitute a continuing client-representative relationship. The advice provided is valid at the time it is given and is based on the information you provided. The final scheduling of this consultation serves as confirmation that you agree and accept the terms of this form.
