  • Construction Superintendent Judging Criteria:

    Candidate’s information must be based on his/her individual accomplishments between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Candidates will be judged on construction experience, customer relations (before, during and after home completion), philosophies, industry and community involvement. Personal Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Judging Criteria:

    Candidate’s information must be based on his/her individual accomplishments between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025. Candidate will be judged based on how well they accomplish the goals and responsibilities inherent to their job description, customer sales and/or follow-up, philosophies, industry and community involvement. Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Sales Counselor & Rookie Sales Counselor of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidates will be judged on professional approach to sales, selling techniques, philosophies. Other qualifications are the ability to overcome market obstacles, industry and community involvement and results. Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

    Note: (A Rookie is someone in their first year of new home sales with current employer.)

  • Marketing Professional of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidate must be a full-time employee of a builder, developer or associate firm who made significant contributions to the marketing effort of the employer. Entry is not limited to individuals with a marketing title.

    Senior Marketing Professional is defined as someone with over 5 years of experience leading marketing for a firm or specific region for a large firm or someone in the lead role for their company.

    Junior Marketing Professional is defined as someone in a subordinate role with up to 5 years of experience marketing for a firm.

    Senior Candidates will be judged on their professional and innovative approach in developing marketing plans and achieving goals through any or all of the following: product development, merchandising, sales, advertising, market research, public relations and industry and community involvement. Candidates who enter this category may not enter Sales Manager of the Year. 

    Junior Candiates will be judged on professional approach in executing marketing plans and achieving goals merchandising, sales, advertising, market research, public relations and industry and community involvement.

    Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Digital Marketing Specialist of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidate must be a full-time employee of a builder, developer or associate firm who made significant contributions to the marketing effort of the employer. Entry is not limited to individuals with a marketing title.

    Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, developing, overseeing, coordinating and digital marketing activities. Responsiblities include creating and maintaining digital marketing and social media campaigns that target audiences that result in sales within manageable budgets.

    Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Realtor Relations Professional of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidate must be a full-time employee of a builder or developer.

    Entries will be judged on the candidate’s positive aspects and measurable work performance.

  • Lifestyle Director of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Entries will be judged on the candidate’s positive aspects and measurable work performance. Community service and HBA/Council involvement will also be considered as judging criteria.

     

  • Project Manager of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Entries will be judged on the candidate’s positive aspects and measurable work performance. Community service and HBA/Council involvement will also be considered as judging criteria.

     

  • Sales Manager of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidate will be a full-time Sales Manager responsible for the maintenance and performance of a sales staff and administration of all sales management duties. Candidates will be judged on their professional management style, accomplishments and innovative approach in any or all of the following: sales training, motivational programs, success in overcoming obstacles, improving sales performance, achieving company sales goals, marketing efforts, and industry and community involvement. Candidates who enter this category may not enter Marketing Professional of the Year. Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Onsite Sales Professional of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidate will be a full-time Sales Professional responsible for the maintenance and performance of the sales center. Candidates will be judged on their professional style, accomplishments and innovative approach in any or all of the following: increasing sales, success in overcoming obstacles, improving sales performance, achieving company sales goals, marketing efforts, and industry and community involvement. Candidates who enter this category may not enter Marketing Professional of the Year. Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Online Sales Professional of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Candidate will be a full-time Sales Professional responsible for the gaining online leads and increasing sales through the web. Candidates will be judged on their professional style, accomplishments and innovative approach in any or all of the following: increasing sales, dollar volume of closed homes, success in overcoming obstacles, improving sales performance, achieving company sales goals, marketing efforts, and industry and community involvement. Candidates who enter this category may not enter Marketing Professional of the Year. Marketing Statement must be 300 words or less.

  • Humanitarian of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Qualifying candidates may include an employee of a builder, developer, remodeler, or associate and must be a GSABA member. Candidates work record should be based on January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025.

  • Executive/Owner Judging Criteria:

    Entries will be judged on the candidate’s positive aspects and measurable work performance. Community service and HBA/Council involvement will also be considered as judging criteria.

  • Team Member of the Year Judging Criteria:

    Entries will be judged on the candidate’s positive aspects and measurable work performance. Community service and HBA/Council involvement will also be considered as judging criteria.
