Racing in Alberta is a great opportunity for riders to develop their skills, experience other tracks, team building and meet new people.

When we travel, our team supports the riders with potluck style bbq with lots of food and drinks in the tents. We have bike mechanics available, but the great thing with our group is everyone is happy to help out.

We have built a solid foundation of support and we are all part of this team. Our coaches travel with the team but do compete as well. Atlas Racing relies on a community of 'all-in' families. Since our coaches compete alongside the team, we count on parents to help with equipment hauling, setup, and cooking. When we share the workload, we all get to enjoy the benefits of a well-supported pit—without any one person doing all the heavy lifting.

    • If you are interested in attending Alberta races in 2026, which would you attend?
    • Atlas Racing Code of Conduct
    • As a team rider for Atlas Racing, it is your responsibility to read, understand and race by the following code of conduct:

I race because I enjoy doing this and want to ride hard, fast and respectfully every chance I get. I agree to abide by the rules set before me by any clubs or associations under which I am racing. I agree to respect the other racers, keeping my words and actions positive. I agree to resolve conflicts  in a respectful manner. Wearing the Atlas Racing team jersey is a privilege, and I understand that racing in a manner that is unbecoming a team player will result in me losing that privilege. I race because I want to win, but I race first and foremost for fun and to be a part of a larger team, Atlas Racing.

As a parent/gardian of a team rider for Atlas Racing, it is your responsibility to read, understand and practice the following code of conduct:

Always support and encourage all riders, including your child, teammates, and competitors. Respect the decisions of coaches, track officials, and race organizers, as they work to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone. Adhere to the rules of BMX racing and track regulations. Show good sportsmanship by applauding good performances from all riders and avoiding negative comments or gestures. Emphasize the importance of effort, improvement, and enjoyment over winning, and celebrate both personal and team progress. Address any concerns or issues with coaches or race officials privately and respectfully, avoiding confrontations during races or practice sessions. Participate in team activities and volunteer when possible to demonstrate your commitment to your child's participation and the sport. Prioritize the safety and well-being of all riders by ensuring your child wears appropriate safety gear, including helmets and gloves.
