Little Lettuce Kids’ Market Vendor Agreement
Kids who attend the Farmers Market (12 years old and under) get a $5 token spend on fresh food and veggies from farm vendors at the market.
Eligible Vendors
● All vendors who sell eligible products can participate in the Little Lettuce Kids’ Market program.
Eligible Products
● All products that are eligible for Double Up Food Bucks are eligible for the Little Lettuce Kids’ Market.
- Eligible: Whole fruits & vegetables (fresh, dried, or frozen) with no added salts, sugars, or fats.
- Eligible: mushrooms, beans, herbs, & veggie starts.
- Not eligible: nuts, meat, eggs, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, or non-food items.
- Not eligible: prepared food (hot food, made-to-order food)
Rules
● Kids can only collect one token per day from the Info Booth.
● Families with multiple children can collect 1 token per day, per eligible child.
- Each child must be recorded on the sign-in sheet separately.
● Kids have to be 12 years old or under.
- Showing ID is not required.
● No change can be given for tokens. Kids must spend the full $5 at one booth.
● Tokens must be used at the Market on the day that they are distributed.
Reimbursement
● Vendors turn in the tokens that they collect at the end of the Market day along with SNAP tokens, DUFBs, and other currencies.
- Reimbursements will be processed using the same methods that are in place for SNAP and DUFB reimbursements.
